To reminisce. To reflect from one's past self. To move away from adolescence.   These photographs depicts the decayed (and decaying) childhood image. - For the project, I will be applying the same technique/aesthetics to the pieces and the works of the other artists will be along the same styles - mixed media and the use of childhood protraits.

Entry to 2013 IdeasTap Photographic Award (16-22). Inspired by Richard Avedon's portraiture work, this series consists of portraits of year 13 students of Cadbury Sixth Form College; their personality and future aspirations - showing the contrast between the two. Taken in the 'yearbook' style I aim to depict the subjects as being in the same level during this time of their lives regardless of what they hope to become in the future. The theme of 'Journey' is presented in this series as the portraits stand as the start of each of the sitter's journey through life - specifically their careers. I want these portraits to not only be a depiction of the sitters during their adolescence but also a reminder to older generations of their adolescence which will hopefully encourage old dreams and stir up the journey they once wanted to take on.

A collection of portraits and conceptual photography I've taken for different purposes and different time periods.

Experimental art inspired by Melinda Gibson and Jorge Sasse. The photographs in this series are of childhood memories taken from compact digital cameras as well as disposable cameras. Chemically and physically altered and distressed the resulting images suggests the losing of memories.

Inspired by Frantisek Drtikol's 'The Soul' this is a series of photographs taken using a photocopier depicting breaking free.
